Autism Acceptance Day at the Philadelphia Zoo
Join us for our annual Autism Acceptance Day at the Philadeplphia Zoo. This is a fun filled day celebrating Autism Acceptance,where we embrace diversity and promote inclusivity.

We do not charge for this event but you have to get into the Zoo. So if you are a member just come to the Zoo and enjoy. If you are not a Zoo member we will be selling discount tickets. Stay tuned for more details.

Make A Weighted Blanket Classes
Make a Weighted Blanket Class! Come join Autism Society Greater Philadelphia and SEW, CHEW AND CHAT!Class only $5! Art, Games and Chit Chat for Adults with Disabilities
Cost: FREE
Let your creative juices flow while we make fun art projects. Don’t feel like being artsy ? We will have games and time for chit chat. Adults (18 and over) of all disABILITIES welcome. All materials included.
This program is designed to offer our disability community a chance to get together to socialize, explore different art activities and enjoy games. It will be a casual atmosphere where fun and self expression are encouraged. All materials will be provided. Support companions are required as needed. Attendees must be 18 and up. Sessions will run the second and fourth Thursday of each month.
This program is being offered in collaboration with Autism Society Greater Philadelphia and co-sponsored by Upper Merion Township Library

Sensory Friendly Movies
Autism Society Greater Philadelphia is proud to partner with AMC to offer unique movie showings where we turn the lights up, and turn the sound down, so you can get up, dance, walk, shout or sing! Our Sensory Friendly Film program is available on the second and fourth Saturday (family friendly) and Wednesday evenings (mature audiences) of every month.

How to apply for a Special Registration Plate:
1. Download form MV-904SP (7-23) .

2. Make sure name of organization in Section B is Autism Society of America (P5)
3. For a Standard Plate fill out section “A” and section “E”.
4. The cost is $57. (This includes a PennDOT fee of $32 plus the organization fee of $25 to Autism Society Greater Philadelphia).
5. For a Specialty “Vanity” Plate fill out sections “A”, “D” and “E”.
6. The cost is $195. (This includes the specialty plate fee of $138, the PennDOT Fee of $32 and the $25 organization fee to Autism Society Greater Philadelphia)
**If you already have a vanity plate you still need to pay the specialty plate fee again to keep your special set of letters and/or numbers.
